(Just a beautiful picture and a thought to ponder…)
On “sides” we find…
Anger. Hate. Intolerance. Fear.
From one “side” we can’t see the faces of “the other side.”
Therefore, they are not human and, therefore, deserve to be treated inhumanely.

“In the middle” is where we find…
Truth.
Love.
Joy.
Patience.
Tolerance.
Perspective.
“In the middle” is where…
We see BOTH sides actually have faces.
– Therefore, they are human and, therefore, deserve to be treated as such.
There is personal accountability.
– We accept responsibility for our own actions and shortcomings.
– We don’t blame everyone or everything else.
True maturity exists.
– Not bravado and posturing and posing (pride)
Sadly, it is those in the middle that often hurt most
because they receive the anger, hate, and intolerance from both “sides.”

If you try to throw a rock across a lake it will, most likely, land somewhere in the middle.
(It doesn’t matter from which side of the lake you throw it!)
